Stamping Process & Feasibility Engineer Ford Motor Company Oct-2011 to Mar-2021
•Main VOME Stamping Engineer responsible for new Ford EcoSport, Ford Ka, new Ford Ranger and new Ford Focus working since the beginning of the program focused on RFQ, Die Design Review, Engineering Change cost reduction and lead time implementation improvements for the Stamping commodity until the launch, passing through for all Build event phases.
•Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in charge for managing the New Model Launch in feasibility assessment for Stamping Manufacturing of Global Programs developed in South America, Manufactured in different facilities and sell in all continents.
•Press and Automation Engineering - Lead Engineer in charge:
-Preparation of technical specifications for the procurement of new manufacturing automation systems or for changes to existing manufacturing automation systems within the stamping plants;
-Liaisons with Plant and other Ford engineering department activities in the preparation of engineering solutions and technical specifications;
-Provide technical specification and supporting documentation to enable Purchasing to issue Purchase Information Requests to prospective equipment manufacturers;
•Highlight: Lead Engineer in charge to implement the Tryout Stamping Press Installation Process going through RFQ process, Components Manufacturing, Pre-assembly at Manufacturer, Equipment Approval Test (Buy-off), Site Preparation Conditions before Site Opening, Rigging Plan Validation, equipment assembled and commissioning.
•Green Belt Certified: Reduced Material waste on South America Quality Roadmap (Sheet Metal).
